Position Summary:
The Department of Political Science and Sociology at Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Lecturer in Legal Studies/Pre-Law. This opening is for the 2021-2022 academic year and is a two year initial appointment subject to subsequent multi-year reappointments without limit.

Candidates with a strong interest in Constitutional Law, Law & Society, The American Judicial System, Comparative Legal Systems, and/or Media Law are strongly encouraged to apply. The candidate would be expected to teach 12 credits per semester.

The Department of Political Science and Sociology seeks enthusiastic teachers who share our faculty's passion for engaging students. A high percentage of our students participate in the Washington Center Internship Program and the department is home to the University's Policy Debate Team and Model UN Team. Candidates with a Moot Court interest/background are encouraged to apply.
